Handmade in small batches at the world's first butter mochi café, this is our take on Hawaiian-style butter mochi; dense, bouncy chew with crisp caramelized edges. Each round piece is baked with a caramelized outer edge and a dense, bouncy chew throughout; the rice-flour texture mochi lovers know, in the format that made Pixlcat famous. Imagine if a cookie, a cupcake, and mochi had a baby.

I emailed the company but never received a reply so I guess I will leave a review. The mochi was not to my taste. It was gritty and very hard to choke down because of the texture. If you like gritty textures, it may be for you, but I didn't enjoy them.

I really enjoyed every last one of these. I only wish that all of the flavors were available to order since I live on the East Coast. I was also given a free butter mochi coupon, but it can only be used in-person, and again, I live on the opposite side of the country and won't be able to use it.

Delicious but knocking off two stars hoping to make an impact as I wish I was able to pick more of a variety. Would continue to order even with the price if I could. If things change I will be back.
